Data Quality and Missing Data Fields

After your data syncs, the first two tiles you will see in the platform revolve around data quality. Your data quality is absolutely critical for you and your clients. You are able to provide more accurate reporting and budget forecasting and increase sells when you have better data.

Clicking on the lightbulb in the Data Quality Score tile will give you some insights into the statistics on the tile.

To review or edit the asset type weightings used in calculating the data quality score click on account settings in the left hand navigation and choose the Data Quality Settings tile.

Default settings are set as seen in the image. Edit the weightings that are appropriate for your company and click the "Save Settings" button. Note: The weighting for EOL and Warranty Expiration are higher because those numbers are critical to creating the budget forecast and can be entered manually with or without a make/model/serial number.

To determine what data is missing, click on the pop out arrow next to the Missing Any field

This will provide you with a list of all assets for the current customer that is missing any of the following: EOL data, Warranty expiration data, Make, Model or Serial number. You can download this to a printable CSV, docx or pdf by clicking on the icons in the upper right-hand corner. (Onboarding an intern or new tier 1 tech? Having them update a client's data is a great way to train them on the importance of the data and learn more about your processes and the client)

To update the data, you can enter it into the PSA and it will refresh in Lifecycle Insights upon the nightly sync or you can enter it directly into Lifecycle Insights one asset at a time or in bulk. See these articles for instructions.
