There is a great deal of power and functionality in the Asset List which can be found by clicking on "Asset List" in the left-hand navigation.
Your asset list will populate based on the current customer in the customer picker dropdown.
Charts are shown at the top of the asset list showing the status of the assets in the list and the End-of-Life status of the assets. You can toggle the chart view on or off by using the slider located at the top of the page.
The Asset List contains several fields. You can manage the columns and select the fields you wish to view by clicking the manage columns icon at the top of the Asset List, then select Manage Columns from the drop-down list.
You can select fields to view by selecting the checkboxes next to each field name.
You can also save the column configurations as a default setting or a custom setting.
You can retrieve a saved list template by clicking the manage columns icon and selecting the list from the drop-down list of saved views.
A search bar is available aid in finding assets. This search bar will search all fields for data by default. The asset list will show results for the search data only.
"LCI Swatching" is available for Operating System, Warranty Expiration Date, and End of Life Date.
Swatching allows you to select from colored tiles by each available color. The colors of the items in the fields are based on the data within the fields and their proximity to these expiration dates.
Click a swatch color to filter items on or off the Asset List that correspond to the color of the swatch.
The status selector is available to easily switch between duplicate view, hidden assets view, and normal view
Filters can be applied to the Asset List. Applied filters will update all Asset List data real-time.
To apply a filter, click the filter icon located in the upper-right corner of the table.
The filter ribbon will be displayed. Use the drop-down menus to select your filters.
The filter icon will now display as green, and the number of filters applied will also show.
Use the clear filters button to remove any filters.
You can hide the filter ribbon by clicking the filter icon. This will not remove your filters. Applied filters will be shown next to the filter icon and can be viewed by hovering over the shown filters.
You can generate filtered or non-filtered reports to export to csv, pdf, or docx formatted files by clicking the export icon.
You can also select a logo to include with docx or pdf file exports
Click Download or Download and Save to Locker to begin the export.
The system will generate the report in the background. A banner will be displayed at the top of your window while the report is generating. You can click the dismiss button to exit the message banner. You can also navigate to other areas of the application without affecting your file download
When your download is completed, you will see the message banner below. At this point your file is available, you can click the dismiss button on the message banner to close.
Scheduled Asset Reports
You can schedule delivery of filtered and non-filtered asset list reports to customers by clicking the schedule icon.
Within the scheduler window, select the report and scheduling specifications you wish to configure.
Hover your mouse over the details icon to show a complete summary list of the asset report and scheduling options, including applied filters.
Click Preview link at the bottom of the scheduling window to see a copy of the report that will be delivered.
Click Save or Save and Close to save the scheduled report.
You can add multiple reports to a single asset list, including different filtering options. When you click the Scheduler icon, the window will list current reports and schedules available for delete or editing
You can edit asset items by clicking the device name to open the edit window.
Create PSA Tickets, link the asset to new or existing contracts, view warranty data, or edit field data within the edit window.
Click the magnify icon to view the raw API information as it is received from your PSA.
You can bulk edit assets in the asset list by clicking the checkboxes located on the left side of the asset list.
When items are checkboxes are selected an action menu will display at the top of the list. Use the drop-down selector to choose a field to edit.
Use the pop-up window to set the new value for the selected assets.
Please note: When deleting asset items, it is important to note that the asset list will repopulate these deleted items on your next data sync unless the item is deleted or inactive in your PSA.
