Contract Templates
We recognize that at times, you may have a specific contract that applies to many of your clients, or alternatively, you may want propose that contract in a project for your client. With this in mind, Lifecycle Insights allows you to create a contract template that can be re-used for another client and/or project at a later point in time.
Creating a Contract Template
You can create a contract template from any contract that has already been created in LCI. To create a template, you must be on the Contracts List page. When viewing a list of your contracts, you will notice a Template column (last column in the Contracts List).
Find the contract that you want to base a template off of, and click the Template icon for the corresponding row. Once you click on the icon, you will be presented with a modal to name the template. Name it something meaningful as you will be recalling that later when creating a new contract.
Click the Save button.
Using Contract Templates
After you have created at least one Contract Template, you can now use it when either 1. Creating a new Contract; or 2. Creating a New Recurring Cost on a Project.
