When working with Lifecycle Insights Recommendations, you can create HaloPSA opportunities directly from within Lifecycle Insights.

This article will cover how to enable and use this feature.

How to enable Halo Opportunity Integration

In order to manage Halo Opportunities from Lifecycle Insights, you'll need to ensure that the correct permissions have been set.

When HaloPSA is your primary integration

When using HaloPSA as your primary integration, Opportunity features will be automatically enabled. You won't need to make any changes to your Lifecycle Insights setup in order to enable this feature.

When using HaloPSA as a supplemental PSA integration

If Halo PSA is your supplemental PSA integration, you need to ensure that Halo Opportunities Integration is enabled in your HaloPSA Settings.

1. Click Integrations from the navigation bar on the left of Lifecycle Insights.
   
   
2. Click the HaloPSA Integration under PSA Integration
   
   
3. Ensure that the Enable Halo Opportunity Integration checkbox is ticked
   
   
   
4. Click Save Settings

Creating HaloPSA Opportunities in Lifecycle Insights

You will be able to create a Halo Opportunity from any Lifecycle Insights recommendation.

Where you can access this feature

The ability to create Halo Opportunities can be accessed from the Recommendations page of Lifecycle Insights in the areas highlighted below.

In the toolbar of the Recommendations page there is a show/hide button for Halo Opps. This is here so you have flexibility to work with Halo Opps on pages that show all LCI Recommendations.
The ability to show or hide the opportunities column may be useful when showing Lifecycle Insights to your customers

• Edit Recommendation page
  • Recommendations > Click the relevant recommendation > +Halo Opportunity
    
    
    
• Recommendation List View
  • Ensure Show Halo Opps is toggled on in the toolbar
    
    
    
• Recommendation Roadmap board
  • Again, ensure that Show Halo Opps is toggled on in the toolbar
    
    
    
• Recommendation Status board
  • Toggle Show Halo Opps on in the toolbar
    

Create a Halo Opportunity

After you click the +Halo Opportunity Button in any of the above areas, click the Create Halo Opportunity option.

You will be presented with a popup allowing you to create a new Halo Opportunity

Enter the details as requested in the form

• Opportunity Type
• Opportunity Summary
• Opportunity Details
• Target Date
• Potential Value
• Conversion Probability

Click Save to create the Opportunity in HaloPSA.

Note: Once you create the Opportunity in Lifecycle Insights, any adjustments or edits will need to be made in HaloPSA.

Link to an existing Halo Opportunity

Users can link existing Halo Opportunities to recommendations in Lifecycle insights.
This option is available in the same areas as the option to create a new Halo Opportunity as outlined above.

After clicking the +Halo Opportunity button, click the Link existing Halo Opportunity option. You will see this popup:

Click the Link button to the left of the Halo Opportunity you would like to link the recommendation to.

Unlink existing Halo Opportunities from Lifecycle Insights recommendation

If a Halo Opportunity was previously linked to a Lifecycle Insights recommendation, you can unlink it by clicking the blue Halo Opportunity button and choosing the Unlink Halo Opportunity option

Open a linked Opportunity in Halo

You can open a linked Opportunity in Halo from Lifecycle Insights. Click the blue Halo Opportunity button and choose the Open Opportunity in Halo option.



This will open Halo and bring you directly to the Opportunity.
