Lifecycle Insights assessment templates can be migrated to Lifecycle Manager for use with Lifecycle Manager X clients. This process creates a duplicate of your Lifecycle Insights assessment templates in Lifecycle Manager. After migration, your assessment templates will still be available in Lifecycle Insights.

- Log in to Lifecycle Insights with an admin account. (The same account must also have admin permission in Lifecycle Manager)
- Click Account Settings in the left navigation panel of Lifecycle Insights.

Select the Data Migration tile.
Note: At the top of the data migration page, the Lifecycle Manager admin account associated with the currently logged in user is displayed. Ensure the account shown is the one associated with the Lifecycle Manager account you want to migrate assessment templates to. - Click + NEW MIGRATION in the upper right corner of the screen.
- Select the Assessment Templates option from the Data Type drop-down
- A list of your assessment templates is shown, along with their migration status:
- Ready - An assessment template ready to be migrated to Lifecycle Manager.
- Completed - An assessment template that has already been migrated to Lifecycle Manager. (Note that if a previously migrated template is deleted from Lifecycle Manager, this field will still show completed in Lifecycle Insights)

Failed - A previously attempted migration that has failed.
Select the checkbox beside each template to select them for migration.
- Click Start Migration.
- Enter an email address to receive migration status updates and completion notifications. Click Start Migration.
Assessment template migration begins immediately and runs in the background with no monitoring required. You’ll receive an email when it’s done.
Assessment fields in Lifecycle Manager (scoring instructions, remediation tips, item descriptions, and template descriptions) don’t support images and are limited to 500 characters. Any additional text is truncated and images are omitted from the migrated assessment.
Open the Steps in Lifecycle Manager dropdown below to find and review your migrated assessment templates.

No action needs to be taken in Lifecycle Manager to complete the migration process, but it's best practise to check and confirm that the assessment templates appear as expected.
To view your migrated assessment templates:
- Log into Lifecycle Manager.
- Hover over the settings icon in the upper right of Lifecycle Manager and click Account settings.
- On the account settings page, click Assessment templates from the left navigation panel.
- Click Custom Templates at the top of the page.
- Find the templates migrated from Lifecycle Insights. They can be identified by the "Migrated from LCI (xxxx-xx-xx)" text after the assessment name.
- Review the Assessment template and make any necessary adjustments.
