Step 1: Migrating assessment templates from Lifecycle Insights

1. Log in to Lifecycle Insights with an admin account. (The same account must also have admin permission in ScalePad CS)
    
2. Click Account Settings in the left navigation panel of Lifecycle Insights.
   
   
    

3. Select the Data Migration tile.
   
   

   Note: At the top of the data migration page, the ScalePad CS admin account associated with the currently logged in user is displayed. Ensure the account shown is the one associated with the ScalePad CS account you want to migrate assessment templates to.

4. Click + NEW MIGRATION in the upper right corner of the screen.
   
   
    
5. Select the Assessment Templates option from the Data Type drop-down
    
6. A list of your assessment templates is shown, along with their migration status:
   • Ready - An assessment template ready to be migrated to ScalePad CS.
   • Completed - An assessment template that has already been migrated to ScalePad CS. (Note that if a previously migrated template is deleted from ScalePad CS, this field will still show completed in Lifecycle Insights)
   • Failed - A previously attempted migration that has failed.
      
     Click the checkbox beside each template to select them for migration.
     
     
      
7. Click Start Migration.
    
8. Enter an email address to receive migration status updates and completion notifications. Click Start Migration.
   
   

Assessment template migration begins immediately and runs in the background with no monitoring required. You’ll receive an email when it’s done.

Assessment fields in ScalePad CS (scoring instructions, remediation tips, item descriptions, and template descriptions) don’t support images and are limited to 500 characters. Any additional text is truncated and images are omitted from the migrated assessment.

Open the Reviewing migrated assessment templates in ScalePad dropdown below to find and review your migrated assessment templates.

Step 2: Reviewing migrated assessment templates in ScalePad

No action needs to be taken in ScalePad CS to complete the migration process, but it's best practise to check and confirm that the assessment templates appear as expected.

To view your migrated assessment templates:

1. Log into ScalePad CS and navigate to the Account settings page.
    
2. On the account settings page, click Assessments from the left navigation panel.
    
3. Use the Filter button to choose Custom as the source.
    
4. Find the templates migrated from Lifecycle Insights. They can be identified by the "Migrated from LCI (xxxx-xx-xx)" text after the assessment name.
    
5. Review the Assessment template and make any necessary adjustments.
