When migrating data from Lifecycle Insights to Lifecycle Manager, you must ensure that companies in Lifecycle Insights are correctly mapped to clients in Lifecycle Manager. This mapping ensures that migrated data is associated with the correct client in Lifecycle Manager.
This article walks through the steps required to map companies to clients.

Who can use this feature?

Navigate to the data migration tool
- Log into Lifecycle Insights with an admin account. (The same account must also have admin permissions in Lifecycle Manager)
- Click Account Settings in the left navigation panel of Lifecycle Insights.
- Select the Data Migration tile.

Note: The Lifecycle Manager account associated with the currently logged-in Lifecycle Insights user is displayed at the top of the page. |
- Click + NEW MIGRATION in the upper right corner of the screen.
Map companies to clients
The Company to Client Mapping modal is where Lifecycle Insights companies are mapped to Lifecycle Manager clients.
- Under Add New Mapping, select a Lifecycle Insights company from the Select Company drop-down.
- Choose the Lifecycle Manager client that matches the company from the Select Client drop-down.
- Click the + button to add the mapping.
Multiple companies can be mapped to the same client, if required.
- Confirm that the Company/Client mapping shows in the Existing Mappings list.
Deleting a Company/Client mapping
To remove the connection between a Lifecycle Insights company and a Lifecycle Manager client, click the red trash icon in the Actions column to the right of its entry in the Existing Mappings list.
